  4. My favourite book is Parco by Jordi Sierra y Fabra which I read two years ago during summer. I loved this book because it's about a sixteen year old boy who after killing a man enters a juvenile detention centre. At first, he doesn't talk to anyone, he doesn't talk to other boys, guards or psychologists. But at the end, after escaping the centre threating a guard with a knife he goes to see a friend, the niece of the man he killed. At that moment he realises a lot of things, he comes back to the centre and asks for help.

It tells the story of a girl that is just about to get married when she recieves a very peculiar present that is a real size robot of his father that has recently dead. 9. My favourite book is "Tres metros sobre el cielo" by Federico Moccia. I read it about two years ago and I was impressed.
The book is about Babi, a role model for other girls, a great student and the perfect daughter....and Step a quite violent, agressive and impertinent teenager. Even though they come from two completely different worlds, between them is born an unconditional and controversial love. Babi and Step fight a lot to keep the love between them, but they're absolutely different and that brings a lot of problems. If you want to know how this amazing story ends, read it!
I'd recommend it because it's not the typical love story and teaches you a lot of new things. And it also shows you some teenagers problems which are very helpful and makes you see the real world.

  26. I've decided to read The Great Gatsby before I've already watched the movie, and I just Ioved it. I've read it probably ten times and it's truly amazing.
First of all the love story between Gatsby and Daisy is absolutely beautiful, as well as the unique atmosphere of the twenties. Secondly, the social criticism which shows the superficiality of the high social status is also interesting.
Besides, The Great Gatsby captures the American dream, that endless striving for greatness and it shows what it’s like to want something so badly but ultimately fail.

  61. The book that I've chosen is "Mi hermana Elba y los altillos de Brumal" by Cristina Fernández Cubas. I read this over five months ago more or less and I liked it a lot. In this book, the author explains eight stories so interesting and, in all of them, someone with mental disorders appears. The different stories are unrelated but each other has something that makes you think. I recommend it to you if you want to spend a good time and if you like this kind of stories.

  62. The Great Gatsby is a romantic and marvelous novel of a very well-know author called F.Scott Fitzgerald. This love story is set in the 1920s, a decade of great changes in the world. Our narrator is Nick Carraway who tell us a story about his neighbour, Jay Gatsby, who later becomes very close to him, starting a caring friendship. Gatsby, a poor army officer, falls in love with Daisy who gets married with a rich man while Gatsby is overseas. After the war, Jay becomes a multi-millionaire focusing on making money, throwing parties and attracting Daisy back to his life.
However, this is my favourite book not only because of the story itself, but also because of the message the writter tries to pass to its readers: our future is always out of reach and we can't recreat the past.
I would totally recomend the book! It is one of the biggest classics ever and it shows us perfectly how America in the period of jazz.

  63. My favorite book is; "The Da Vinci Code". This novel was written by Dan Brown and he explains an history about the investigation of the secrets of the catholic religion during the history of the humanity. The protagonist and the granddaughter of a victim of a unknown murderer must follow some tracks (many of them related to Leonardo Da Vinci works) to know a secret that the catholics have been keeping. But there's a big problem for the two "detectives", they are followed by a catholic organisation that want to kill them so they cannot solve the enigma. I like this book since I love reading books about religions secrets. Another reason is that this novel gives you the sensation of being part of the investigation. I really recommend you this book if you like reading adventure and detectives novels because it gives you another point of view about the religions and the science.
