These days during La Mercè festival I have done a lot of things... I've gone to the concerts and I have seen all the traditional events but a special output was visit the basilica of Sagrada Familia. It was a good experience because this church, in my opinion, is the most beatiful. Concluding with, this festival has been perfect!!!
In these festival days, I haven't gone to any party because music was not many interesting and I don't drink in this places, like the rest of irresponsible people. I have prefered to train hard, doing that I love, athletics. This is healthy and a great activity to do in these days, also like going to some shows like the Barça's match in Camp Nou.
On Monday I went out with some of my friends. First we went to Pl.Espanya and then we went to a concert in el Fòrum. The underground was full of people so when we got out we had a really good time. We enjoyed that night a lot knowing that after that school would be waiting for us.
When I was younger I went to the fireworks castle with my family. It was a great experience because we enjoy all the things that happened on September 24! In the future with my future wife and child we will go to the fireworks!
Although on Friday night I was in my home because I had headache and I was so tired, I’ve enjoyed a lot during these days. On Saturday afternoon I went with my friends to Pl. Espanya there was music but the concerts didn’t start till the night so we went to take a walk. On Sunday afternoon I went with my friends to Pl.Espanya again where there were concerts of different singers like Teràpia de Shock and Henry Mendez. On Monday night I went to El Forum with my friends, there were a lot of people and it was really cool!
During La Mercè, (exactly Sunday 22) I went to Esplugues because there was a medieval market. In this place there are a lot of things to do, you can buy some aliments, like cheese, sausage and cakes, you can also purchase another things like jewelery, esoteric things, some wood toys for children and wood flowers. There are some activities for children, they can do a donkey or pony ride and a show that tells a story of two knights and a princess. In conclusion, I think that is a good place to go for do a walk, and I recommend it.
During La Mercè I have attended to some different activities. For example, last Monday I went to Sagrada Familia with Julia Calonge and our mums. In fact, Julia invited me to go. There, we were only allowed to visit the first floor and the museum, so we couldn’t see the different towers of it but, even though, I was fascinated by Gaudi’s work. I enjoyed a lot!!
Hello Esther! The last Sunday I went to Plaza España, with a friends, because there was a 40's Principales' concert. In this concert sang groups like Teràpia de Shock or Auryn, and singers like Inna. At the beggining was great, but later started to arrive a lot of people and we couldn't dance or listen anything. So we decided go home.
During La Mercè I went to Plaza Cataluña with friends and we were listening to rock music until midnight there. Afterwards I went to Forum, but I didn't like the music and I decided to return to my home.
Last Saturday I went to "Plaça Espanya" to go to the concerts. There were Inna and Kate Ryan, European singers. There were too Flaixbac, a Catalan radio. It was fantastic and I liked a lot, but in my opinion was a little bit oppressive because there were a lot of people in not enough space. I hope that the next year will be less people.
Last Friday night, I went to Pl.Espanya because there was a concert of “Cadena 100” there. I went with some friends from St.Pol de Mar (a village where I spent the summer) but there I met with my group of friends from my old school. Also, I found some people from my new school “Sta.Teresa de Lisieux” and we had a great time all together. We sang a lot of songs, and took photos so it was a good opportunity to know more about my new colleagues. On Sunday afternoon, I attended a concert in Pl.Espanya too with my best friend Elena and some other people from my neighborhood. There were acting famous singers like Henry Mendez and Inna. This Mercè's festival I went out with my classmates to Plaça Espanya because there was a concert of "los 40 principales". I have fun a lot, I listened to music, I danced, I laughed,... on Tuesday I went with my family to see the fireworks in Plaça Espanya, they were very beautiful! Better than the ones of last year.
The last sunday I went to Plaza España whith three friends, because there was a concert. In la Mercé, the best performance in my opinion was Danny Romero, he is a very famous singer and DJ. I like his music so much. I only listen Danny and Henry Mendez because we went to have dinner at ten o'clock.
Hello Ester. During la Mercè I went to plaça Espanya with my friends becouse on Saturday there were some concerts and shows amazing. Sunday I went to plaça Espanya to but the afternoon becouse the next day there were school. Hello! Last Friday I went to Plaza España with my friends, because there was a concert. In the concert sang a famous Catalonian group and the others, and we had a great time. On Sunday I went with some friends to Plaza España too, to sang and saw fantastic singers, like, Henry Mendez, Dani Romero and Inna. I love Inna’s songs and I stayed all the time singing and dancing. I liked very much and we enjoyed all the time. On Monday’s night I went to Forum because there was a big festival called Maxima. I stayed with a lot of friends and I really liked the environment. Each day on the festival of Barcelona "la Mercè" I've done a lot of things . At night I was going to several concerts. The night that I liked more was yesterday, we went to Plaza Spain to see "Els Catarras" a group of Catalonia. The music was very good and catalan spirit was in the air, was very nice. People were dancing and were laughing, but as always there was some misunderstanding. After the concert I shared with two friends a moment of truth and understanding , this time I remembered the importance of true friendship. I realized that don't matter where you go , if not with who. It was a night to remember.
Hi Ester, This year I didn’t go to any festival of La mercè, because I don’t like this kind of festivals, but I meet friends that they went to it. They explained me that the festival was amazing because there were a lot of people and some pretty music. But on Tuesday 24, I went to Maria Crisitna Avenue at ten o’clock to see the fireworks. It was great and I really liked them. I would like to see the fireworks next year.
In this Mercè Festival 2013 I did a lot of things. I have combined the trainings and the weekend match with the Festival so it was too tired. Except Friday, that I didn't go out because I had training and after it was laziness, the other days I went out with my friends and we had a great time.
During La Mercè I done so many things. I met my friends sunday afternoon to go to the Danny Romero, Henrry Mendez and Inna concert, we had a fantastic time dancing and singing. But I haven't been only with my friends, I also went to some shows with my family like the plane show or the ending fireworks. So from my point of view this has been a fantastic festival. The event that I prefer of the celebrations La Mercè was the day that we went on “Plaza España”. We were listen music by Catalan groups. I found a lot of people from the other school and I liked it, because I had not seen them. After,we went to the forum to listen more music. It was really good. Finally, I came home and I got up very late, and in the afternoon I was sleepy yet.

On Saturday night I had dinner in Blanca’s house with another friends and then we met with more friends and we went to Plaza España concert, but the best concert clearly was on Sunday because there were groups like Terapia de Shock, Inna, Dany Romero, Henry Mendez... The last weekend have been celebrated the feasts in honor of Barcelona's patron saint, La Mercé. On these days I have attended differents shows, like Flaixbac concert in Plaza España and Europa Fm concert in Plaza España too. The best part of the feasts was at the end when were the fireworks, an amzing show to conclude the festivities.
Last Saturday my family and some friends decide to go to Ciutadella. We arrived there at five o’clock, and it was full of people of all the places in Barcelona. There was a kind of wine’s fair for the adults and activities for children. At Sunday’s night, my friends and I went to the concert of Flaix Fm. First it was great, but at the end of the night it was so perfect. We listened Inna singing one of her famous songs: Sun is Up. We danced and sang and everyone passed a perfect time in Plaça Espanya. During La Merçè I have done some different activities. Last Saturday I went with a lot of friends to Pl. Espanya, because there was an electro music festival, I really enjoyed it! On Monday I went to Fòrum but there were so many people that we had to go to another place because the concert close the doors. These days, during la Mercé celebration, I went to Plaça Espanya with my friends, because there was Flaixback concert, I don't like so much this music but It's a party! When I arrived at Plaça Espanya there was a lot of people and I can't dance so much. Also there was a group of boys fighting, because one of them push her friend, that's not the meaning of the party. I past a good night with all my friends and i sang a lot. This were the only day I went to La Mercé.
These days have been very exciting, Friday and Saturday we went to the Plaza Spain and we all had fun, because they put a lot of music and varied. The best part was the Monday night, we went to Forum. There were not many people and could not dance wrong was that my phone was stolen while I was dancing.

Firstly, I would like to talk about Saturday afternoon. I went to the center of Barcelona and I watched the "castellers" an very diferrent performance of artists of all over the world. Maria Cristina, they were fantastics, a lot of people went to them and had a really good time like my friends and I. During this weekend I was visiting some places like museums, parks... around Barcelona with my parents. But the best place for me was the Ciutadella's Park.
In that park we had two parts; on the one hand, we could see some medieval shows. The people were dressing up with the typical dresses of that time and on the other hand, there was an electronic concert. There was very exciting because there were a lot of dancers.
The last Saturday I went to the Flaixbac party in Plaza España with friends. There were singers like Els Vuit, Kate Ryan, Lax ‘n Busto, and more. We enjoy a lot singing all the songs. The place was crowded and surprisingly we met a few friends there. I had fun with all of them.
This year La Mercè's festival was pretty good, although I didn't do anything special. Probably it's one of my favorite Catalonia's celebrations, I like the traditional activities like castellers and correfocs. As I said, I didn't do anything special, last Tuesday I just went to Plaça d'Espanya with some friends to enjoy the awesome fireworks show. I had a really good time.
During La Mercè I didn't go anywhere and I didn't do nothing interesting. But I prefer it. I don't like stay with crowd. I went out with my family and we ate at a restaurant. After we went home and we played cards. I like it, because I stay with my family and we laugh a lot and sometiemes argue, but that is normal in all families.
During these days I have been blowing matches during the weekend and going to school on Monday so I couldn't go to the afternoon concerts, but I went the three nights to the concert with class mates and we had really fun! We were enjoying in Spain's place and we finished so exhausted, but we'll remember it as a incredible way of doing party! Next party: Les Corts!
During La Mercè I have done some activities like go to some concerts or visit La Sagrada Familia that these days was free but in my opinion the best was the fireworks that it's awesome see the relation between the music and the fire crossing the sky of Barcelona. I recomend to see it in Montjuic!!
Hello, This year I haven't done much during La Mercè because I had a surgery the week before but I went to see the firework show on September 24th. The other days I spent them working on my Research Work (Treball de Recerca) and resting, as the doctor said. Other than that I didn't do much more.
In the last week the streets of Barcelona were in party because Merce was celebrated. I celebrated it on Friday's night in Esplugas and Monday's night in the Forum. In Esplugas were the Flaix fm radio with their dj's, this party was really good but the forum was incredible, this was full of youngs and we were very excited with Màxima fm because we were celebrating the end of the Merce. I didn't go to diferents activities made in the city during the day.
During these days of LA MERCE, I have gone to many parties or concert for example "40 Principales" Flaix Fm , Maxima....but in my opinion, the best day was Monday! i went to Forum with my friends and there were a lot of people! but we enjoyed dancing and listening to good music!, well in concluding with, this festival has been better than last year!!
The first day did not go to the party because my friends did not go out and go to the party alone do not like. But on the third day we went to the party, the music I did not like but the ambient in Spain Square was really good. Hi! This year Merce's festival was better than last year because there were a lot of famous singers and groups there. On Sunday, I went to see groups like "Teràpia de Shock", Inna or Danny Romero, it was too great! But the best night was on Monday because me and a lot of friends went to see "Els Catarres". They sang my favourite song "Invecibles" and it was fascinating.
This year I only went to see the Fireworks,and I think that it's the better form to finish the festival,because it's too beautiful.I hope that the next year I can go all days at the events of Merce beacause it's a fun festival.
This last La Mercè festival I've been able to attend to some great music concerts with greater people. In particular, I went to the Obrint Pas concert in the forum and two days later to the Catarres one. If I had to decide wich was the best most I think I would choose Obrint Pas. Althought it was more crowded and much more stiffling than the Catarres concert, I liked more Obrint Pas music so I think I enjoyed more it than the other.
On Saturday night I went to Plaza Espanya with my friends, because it was a ‘Radio Flaix Bac’ concert. It was a great party. The people was jumping to the pace of the music. The music are excellent. During this festival of la Mercè I basically tried to get away from the stress of the first days of school, so I went out as much as possible. On Friday I went to "Plaza España" with some friends, then on Saturday I went to visit my cousins, on Sunday I stayed in, because on Monday we had class, but on Monday I went again to "Plaza España" because there were some gigs. In my opinion, one of the best festivals.
During the Mercè I went to see a few concerts at Plaza Spain. On Sunday, my friends and I went to see Danny Romero. It was a great show, but there were many people. And on Monday, after school, I went with some friends to see "The Barrankillos" and "Els Catarres". And then we went home.
Durings La Merce i had a cold and i couldn't go to any event or conecert, but when i was younger i used yo go with my parents and brother to see some events like the parades of giants or the Fireworks. I really enjoyed this things when i was younger but now i preffer to go yo concerts. Concluding with, the next year i hope i won't get ill again and enjoy the events.
Last Friday night I went with some friends to Plaza Espanya, there made a sort of concert with different kinds of music, but that was the least, we were there to had fun and enjoyed. On Saturday 21, I went out to Plaça Espanya with my friend Toni, to attend Flaixback concert. It was awesome to hear all of different groups, because there were legendary bands like Lax'n Busto. By our surprise we met with another friends among all the crowd. At the begining, we were awake an energized, but while we spend the night feeling tired, so we came back at home. It was a great night.
These days during La Mercè festival, I've been pretty busy and I could only go out on Monday night. At 11pm I went out with my friends of the school and we went to pl. Espanya where there were some concerts. That night they played two groups of music, a catalan group called ''Els Catarres'' and another unknown group called ''Delafé y las flores azules''. I really enjoy it and I spent a good time! I wish I could go to more activities of La Mercè festival. Now I have to wait for the festivals of next year.
The last Monday during the festival of La Mercèl I went to Plaza España with my group of friends. There were concerts of different groups that played on stage. I could see that all the people sang, laughed and enjoyed the festival. For me, one of the best moments of the night were Fireworks because I love them.

hello esther, the last saturday i went to the concerts of catarres in Plaza España. Monday i went out wih a lot of friends and other people to see a concert in fòrum, it was fantastic. Tuesday i saw the "pyromusical" in Plaza España, i've never seen it so i was so excited.
On Tuesday I went with my family to enjoy seeing the pyromusical show of La Mercè Festival. It was really beautiful. This show matches the pyrotechnics, the music and the images that offers Montjuic fountains mixing water and colour. It was a fantastic way to light the Tuesday night in Barcelona.
Normally, in La Mercé I don't go anywhere but my town with my parents. This year though (on Monday), we did a sightseeing route with our car along the Costa Brava. We didn't bring our swimsuit, so I was disappointed when I wanted to swim and I couldn't, but I saw a lot of beatiful coves and I had a great time, so I didn't complain.
I've enjoyed every day during La Mercè festivity in Barcelona. Every night there was live music on the street, plaza España, Forum ... Everywhere in the town .The day that I liked most it was on Tuesday, the last day of the festivity, since I went with my boyfriend to plaza España to see the artificial firework ...it was really amazing! Unfortunatelly it was very short but there are many other celebrations in Barcelona all the time.
Hi Esther! Last week it was the festival of the Mercè. This festival was great but being the biggest party of Barcelona there are many people. I went to Fòrum with my friends the last Monday to saw the concert of Màxima fm. It was wonderful and I was dancing old the night but at three o'clock, when my parents expected to go home I put my hand in my bag and I realized that I had stolen the mobile, the purse and ipod. In conclusion, the festival of the Mercè are great but you have to be careful.
This year I didn't go to any activities, because I stayed in my town. But the last year I went to all activities that did in the night.I went to the concert of 40's principales's and in this concert sang a lot of famous singers: Juan Magan, Nurian Swan, etc. I had fun with my friends and I listen a lot fo music.
It has been an official city holiday since 1871, when the local government first organized a program of special activities to observe the Roman Catholic feast day of Our Lady of Mercy, La Mare de Déu de la Mercè in Catalan. Although the actual feast day is September 24, the festivities begin a few days beforehand. This 2013 the Party of Mercè have been well planned. Like every year where concerts Night was the Avinguda Maria Cristina (Plaça Espanya) and the Fórum and other parts of the city. I went to the festival on September 23 to Plaça Espanya. I went with friends on 22.30 and once there we started to hear the concert, We are waiting for the touch''Catarres'' a big group Catalan. We had a great time together and this group once I return home.
During La Mercè festival I went many times to Pl. Espanya with my friends because there were some concerts of singers like Henry Mendez and Inna. I also went there to see the fireworks, the last show of La Mercè. As a conclusion, this festival was fantastic and I am waiting impaciently for the next year to repeat it.

These days during la Mercè I stay every day at home. Two weeks ago, I had an accident and the doctor said me that I can't go anywhere except the school because I needed to relax. The maximum that i have done in mercé are to stay with my friends to give a return in the evening. The same that any week.
In the weekend I was not in Barcelona. I came home Sunday and Monday we went with friends to a concert in the plaza espanya. We had a great time but decided to retire early because we had homework to do on Tuesday. I hope to repeat these days next year without work
During La Mercè I was sick so I couldn't go out with my friends to different places. But on Monday I was okay, so i thought:-Why not? I knew that it would be the last night people would go out. So I met with my friends and we went to Plaza España, because there was a concert. It was very cool and there was a lot of people.Then we didn't know if go to El Fòrum or not, finally we decided to stay there. The music on that moment was really bad, but we managed to have a really good time!!
During these days of la Merce i went only in the night concerts on Saturday and Sunday in Plaza España and on Monday in Forum. The best day for me was Saturday night but the music wasn't perfect.In teh other hand, Monday'night the music was perfect but there were too many people and it was oppressive.Now, I'll have to wait for next year to enjoy the merce 2014.
This year in la Mercè, I have attended to the Piromusical Festival with my parents, together we had a great time watching the spectacular fireworks in Plaça Espaya, also at night we went for a walk in Las Rambles and El Port Marítim, there was a big crowd of people, and that crates a little stress, however, it was a great chance to see all happy people celebrating La Mercè. Hi Esther! This is my first experience in La Mercè. On Saturday I went with my rugby team´s partners to Plaza de España to listen some music and see the water show. We had fun. Then we went to Forum to listen more music and dance a little. After that we stayed at the home of one of the team´s players where the party continued. I finished really happy that day. Last year my friends and I went to a concert in Plaça Espanya. The first performances were a little bit boring, but after some singers we can hear the music that we want, and was in that moment when you feel really happy, later a lot of people came from i don't know where but we had to go home.
La Mercè is the annual festival of the city of Barcelona which is celebrate every 24th of September. During these days of festival I went to different places with family and friends to have a good time. On the 24th I went to the Plaça Sant Jaume as did castellers and it was amazing! From Saturday until Tuesday I have been every day for the night in Plaça Espanya as did concerts for young people from different bands and Dj's. Concluding with I think La Mercè is the best festival in Barcelona and I am waiting for next year to go again.
The las Saturday I have gone to the concert of Radio Flaixbac at Plaza España with my friends of the school were I was studied ESO. We gone there because, all of us love this program of radio, and because we wanted to had a good time together. At the beginning of the concert was incredible, we dance a lot, but later, when the night fell, we couldn't dance more, we haven't space and the people was very drunk. Althroug this happened, I will remember this night for the rest of my life, but the next year I wish that will be much better.
During La Mercè festival I went out with my friends to Plaza España! I arrived so late and there were many people gathered on that place. In the concert there were fantastics singers like Henry Mendez or Inna and groups like Teràpia de Shock. I really enjoyed the performance of each singer! Later I was so tired and my friends and I decided go home. I truly spent an amazing time and I hope that we can repeat it next year!
I have enjoyed a lot these days of La Mercè. I went to concerts every day I can. I went to Esplugues, Pl. Espanya and fórum, there, I danced and I laughed a lot with my friends and people I met there. I also saw some great shows like fireworks. So, I can say, this Mercé has been the best one ever for me.
On Saturday I went to Pl Espanya to dance, see and too feel the electro music and other types that the music is similar than this. Me and some friends listen Flaix fm and then we went to and other concert near there, was a fantastic experience and I like a lot this music.

The last week, there was La Mercè. On Monday I went to Forum with my friends because there was the Maxima concert. It was great but it was full of people and we couldn't listen the music. At 4a.m Alvaro and I returned to home because we missed. I think in the next year we stay in Plaza España because in Forum we can't do anything.
The last monday firts I went to Pl.Espanya whith my friends and then we went to a concert in el Fòrum, because there was Maxima fm sesion. In this sesion clicked songs like "can't hold us", "this is love" and others. This festival was the best because I like this type of music .
In the festivals of mercè I experimentate a new experiences about the new festivals of mercè. The people went a party in the night in plaza España anf forum and other places, because they had a very good festivals, as Maxima FM, Flaix FM etc.
During la Mercé festival there are lots of different activities that you can do everywhere in Barcelona. In each street of that beautiful city, you will find people dancing, singing, watching some shows, or maybe eating all together. This year, I have attended to some concerts like Europa FM and CAD-100 with my friends. But the activity that I most liked this year was to visit la Sagrada Familia. I went there with my mum, Marta and her mum, and we became all fascinated about the brilliant work of Gaudí, although we could not enter in any of the towers. It was really relaxing to walk inside this enormous church observing all the details that has every wall and every brick of the construccion. I hope someday you will have the chance to visit it, you will love it!
I’ve always loved the festival La Mercé and every year in these days I used to go out with my friends and enjoy the concerts. But this time I received terrible news because I was supposed to go away from Barcelona with my family at that weekend and, at the end, I couldn’t go away on Saturday. Luckily, we arrived sooner than I expected and on Monday I could, at last, laugh with my friends and dance with the music. Finally everything went perfect.
A year ago for the holidays merce of the Forum was on a Saturday where they made a concert of music from 12 pm until 4. The next day I went to the fireworks of Montjuic. Paula Correa
Last week was the Mercè, and many people attended at some of the festivals that are celebrated in Barcelona. For example, Sunday night I went at Plaza España to see the concert of some famous singers like INNA, Henry Mendez or Dany Romero. The concert was so good, and I have a good time singing and enjoying with my friends.
As we didn't have party on Monday I had to assist to school. Finally, on Monday night I went to Forum, where all the teenagers were to have party. The Forum was full of people and was impossible to meet someone, but despite it, I also enjoy it.
Next year I hope to enjoy it as well as this year. The Mercè parties are the best.
These days during La Mercè festival I have done a lot of things... I've gone to the concerts and I have seen all the traditional events but a special output was visit the basilica of Sagrada Familia. It was a good experience because this church, in my opinion, is the most beatiful. Concluding with, this festival has been perfect!!!
ReplyDeleteIn these festival days, I haven't gone to any party because music was not many interesting and I don't drink in this places, like the rest of irresponsible people. I have prefered to train hard, doing that I love, athletics. This is healthy and a great activity to do in these days, also like going to some shows like the Barça's match in Camp Nou.

On Monday I went out with some of my friends. First we went to Pl.Espanya and then we went to a concert in el Fòrum. The underground was full of people so when we got out we had a really good time. We enjoyed that night a lot knowing that after that school would be waiting for us.

Espanya there was music but the concerts didn’t start till the night so we went to take a walk. On Sunday afternoon I went with my friends to Pl.Espanya again where there were concerts of different singers like Teràpia de Shock and Henry Mendez. On Monday night I went to El Forum with my friends, there were a lot of people and it was really cool!
ReplyDeleteDuring La Mercè, (exactly Sunday 22) I went to Esplugues because there was a medieval market. In this place there are a lot of things to do, you can buy some aliments, like cheese, sausage and cakes, you can also purchase another things like jewelery, esoteric things, some wood toys for children and wood flowers. There are some activities for children, they can do a donkey or pony ride and a show that tells a story of two knights and a princess.

During La Mercè I have attended to some different activities. For example, last Monday I went to Sagrada Familia with Julia Calonge and our mums. In fact, Julia invited me to go. There, we were only allowed to visit the first floor and the museum, so we couldn’t see the different towers of it but, even though, I was fascinated by Gaudi’s work. I enjoyed a lot!!

Hello Esther! The last Sunday I went to Plaza España, with a friends, because there was a 40's Principales' concert. In this concert sang groups like Teràpia de Shock or Auryn, and singers like Inna. At the beggining was great, but later started to arrive a lot of people and we couldn't dance or listen anything. So we decided go home.

ReplyDeleteLast Saturday I went to "Plaça Espanya" to go to the concerts. There were Inna and Kate Ryan, European singers. There were too Flaixbac, a Catalan radio. It was fantastic and I liked a lot, but in my opinion was a little bit oppressive because there were a lot of people in not enough space. I hope that the next year will be less people.

I went with some friends from St.Pol de Mar (a village where I spent the summer) but there I met with my group of friends from my old school. Also, I found some people from my new school “Sta.Teresa de Lisieux” and we had a great time all together. We sang a lot of songs, and took photos so it was a good opportunity to know more about my new colleagues.

There were acting famous singers like Henry Mendez and Inna. We danced and sang all the songs, because we already knew them. I’m happy because I’ve been able to enjoy this festival. This Mercè's festival I went out with my classmates to Plaça Espanya because there was a concert of "los 40 principales". I have fun a lot, I listened to music, I danced, I laughed,... on Tuesday I went with my family to see the fireworks in Plaça Espanya, they were very beautiful! Better than the ones of last year.

Hello! Last Friday I went to Plaza España with my friends, because there was a concert. In the concert sang a famous Catalonian group and the others, and we had a great time. On Sunday I went with some friends to Plaza España too, to sang and saw fantastic singers, like, Henry Mendez, Dani Romero and Inna. I love Inna’s songs and I stayed all the time singing and dancing. I liked very much and we enjoyed all the time. On Monday’s night I went to Forum because there was a big festival called Maxima. I stayed with a lot of friends and I really liked the environment. Monday was the best day for me, and the best party!

ReplyDeleteThe night that I liked more was yesterday, we went to Plaza Spain to see "Els Catarras" a group of Catalonia.
The music was very good and catalan spirit was in the air, was very nice. People were dancing and were laughing, but as always there was some misunderstanding. After the concert I shared with two friends a moment of truth and understanding , this time I remembered the importance of true friendship. I realized that don't matter where you go , if not with who.
It was a night to remember.

ReplyDeleteThis year I didn’t go to any festival of La mercè, because I don’t like this kind of festivals, but I meet friends that they went to it. They explained me that the festival was amazing because there were a lot of people and some pretty music.
But on Tuesday 24, I went to Maria Crisitna Avenue at ten o’clock to see the fireworks. It was great and I really liked them.
I would like to see the fireworks next year.
In this Mercè Festival 2013 I did a lot of things. I have combined the trainings and the weekend match with the Festival so it was too tired.

During La Mercè I done so many things. I met my friends sunday afternoon to go to the Danny Romero, Henrry Mendez and Inna concert, we had a fantastic time dancing and singing. But I haven't been only with my friends, I also went to some shows with my family like the plane show or the ending fireworks. So from my point of view this has been a fantastic festival.

Hi Esther! This year in la Mercè I have done a lot of things. Last Friday I went with my friends to Plaza España to see Cadena 100 live chain, we danced a lot and we had really fun. On Saturday night I had dinner in Blanca’s house with another friends and then we met with more friends and we went to Plaza España concert, but the best concert clearly was on Sunday because there were groups like Terapia de Shock, Inna, Dany Romero, Henry Mendez... It was awesome! Finally on Monday we went to Pl. España again and we had a really good time. As you can see this year la Mercè has been fantastic!

Last Saturday my family and some friends decide to go to Ciutadella. We arrived there at five o’clock, and it was full of people of all the places in Barcelona. There was a kind of wine’s fair for the adults and activities for children. At Sunday’s night, my friends and I went to the concert of Flaix Fm. First it was great, but at the end of the night it was so perfect. We listened Inna singing one of her famous songs: Sun is Up. We danced and sang and everyone passed a perfect time in Plaça Espanya.

ReplyDeleteIn that park we had two parts; on the one hand, we could see some medieval shows. The people were dressing up with the typical dresses of that time and on the other hand, there was an electronic concert. There was very exciting because there were a lot of dancers.
It was really nice.
The last Saturday I went to the Flaixbac party in Plaza España with friends. There were singers like Els Vuit, Kate Ryan, Lax ‘n Busto, and more. We enjoy a lot singing all the songs. The place was crowded and surprisingly we met a few friends there. I had fun with all of them.

During La Mercè I didn't go anywhere and I didn't do nothing interesting. But I prefer it. I don't like stay with crowd. I went out with my family and we ate at a restaurant. After we went home and we played cards. I like it, because I stay with my family and we laugh a lot and sometiemes argue, but that is normal in all families.

During these days I have been blowing matches during the weekend and going to school on Monday so I couldn't go to the afternoon concerts, but I went the three nights to the concert with class mates and we had really fun! ReplyDeleteThis year I haven't done much during La Mercè because I had a surgery the week before but I went to see the firework show on September 24th. The other days I spent them working on my Research Work (Treball de Recerca) and resting, as the doctor said. Other than that I didn't do much more.
In the last week the streets of Barcelona were in party because Merce was celebrated. I celebrated it on Friday's night in Esplugas and Monday's night in the Forum.
ReplyDeleteIn Esplugas were the Flaix fm radio with their dj's, this party was really good but the forum was incredible, this was full of youngs and we were very excited with Màxima fm because we were celebrating the end of the Merce. I didn't go to diferents activities made in the city during the day.

During la Merce i went to night concerts. Saturday night was the night of Flaix Fm and i went with my friends, Sunday cames a lot of Famous persons or groups like Tèrapia de Shock, Danny Romero, Henry Mendez, Inna... and it was fantastic but there were a lot of people and was a bit stressful. On Monday i went with my friends to Forum, and it was really good. And last night of Festival Celebrations (Tuesday) i went with my family to Plaza España for see fireworks. In particular, I went to the Obrint Pas concert in the forum and two days later to the Catarres one. If I had to decide wich was the best most I think I would choose Obrint Pas. Althought it was more crowded and much more stiffling than the Catarres concert, I liked more Obrint Pas music so I think I enjoyed more it than the other.

During this festival of la Mercè I basically tried to get away from the stress of the first days of school, so I went out as much as possible. On Friday I went to "Plaza España" with some friends, then on Saturday I went to visit my cousins, on Sunday I stayed in, because on Monday we had class, but on Monday I went again to "Plaza España" because there were some gigs. In my opinion, one of the best festivals.

On Saturday 21, I went out to Plaça Espanya with my friend Toni, to attend Flaixback concert. It was awesome to hear all of different groups, because there were legendary bands like Lax'n Busto. By our surprise we met with another friends among all the crowd. At the begining, we were awake an energized, but while we spend the night feeling tired, so we came back at home. It was a great night.
ReplyDeleteThese days during La Mercè festival, I've been pretty busy and I could only go out on Monday night. At 11pm I went out with my friends of the school and we went to pl. Espanya where there were some concerts. That night they played two groups of music, a catalan group called ''Els Catarres'' and another unknown group called ''Delafé y las flores azules''. I really enjoy it and I spent a good time! I wish I could go to more activities of La Mercè festival. Now I have to wait for the festivals of next year.

I could see that all the people sang, laughed and enjoyed the festival. For me, one of the best moments of the night were Fireworks because I love them.

This show matches the pyrotechnics, the music and the images that offers Montjuic fountains mixing water and colour. It was a fantastic way to light the Tuesday night in Barcelona.

Normally, in La Mercé I don't go anywhere but my town with my parents. This year though (on Monday), we did a sightseeing route with our car along the Costa Brava. We didn't bring our swimsuit, so I was disappointed when I wanted to swim and I couldn't, but I saw a lot of beatiful coves and I had a great time, so I didn't complain.

Everywhere in the town .The day that I liked most it was on Tuesday, the last day of the festivity, since I went with my boyfriend to plaza España to see the artificial firework ...it was really amazing! Unfortunatelly it was very short but there are many other celebrations in Barcelona all the time.

ReplyDeleteI went to Fòrum with my friends the last Monday to saw the concert of Màxima fm. It was wonderful and I was dancing old the night but at three o'clock, when my parents expected to go home I put my hand in my bag and I realized that I had stolen the mobile, the purse and ipod.
In conclusion, the festival of the Mercè are great but you have to be careful.
This year I didn't go to any activities, because I stayed in my town. But the last year I went to all activities that did in the night.I went to the concert of 40's principales's and in this concert sang a lot of famous singers: Juan Magan, Nurian Swan, etc. I had fun with my friends and I listen a lot fo music.

Although the actual feast day is September 24, the festivities begin a few days beforehand.

I went to the festival on September 23 to Plaça Espanya.
I went with friends on 22.30 and once there we started to hear the concert, We are waiting for the touch''Catarres'' a big group Catalan. We had a great time together and this group once I return home.
During La Mercè festival I went many times to Pl. Espanya with my friends because there were some concerts of singers like Henry Mendez and Inna. I also went there to see the fireworks, the last show of La Mercè. As a conclusion, this festival was fantastic and I am waiting impaciently for the next year to repeat it.

These days during la Mercè I stay every day at home. Two weeks ago, I had an accident and the doctor said me that I can't go anywhere except the school because I needed to relax. ReplyDeleteI came home Sunday and Monday we went with friends to a concert in the plaza espanya. We had a great time but decided to retire early because we had homework to do on Tuesday. I hope to repeat these days next year without work

During La Mercè I was sick so I couldn't go out with my friends to different places. But on Monday I was okay, so i thought:-Why not? I knew that it would be the last night people would go out. So I met with my friends and we went to Plaza España, because there was a concert. It was very cool and there was a lot of people.Then we didn't know if go to El Fòrum or not, finally we decided to stay there. The music on that moment was really bad, but we managed to have a really good time!!

During these days of la Merce i went only in the night concerts on Saturday and Sunday in Plaza España and on Monday in Forum. The best day for me was Saturday night but the music wasn't perfect.In teh other hand, Monday'night the music was perfect but there were too many people and it was oppressive.Now, I'll have to wait for next year to enjoy the merce 2014.

This year in la Mercè, I have attended to the Piromusical Festival with my parents, together we had a great time watching the spectacular fireworks in Plaça Espaya, also at night we went for a walk in Las Rambles and El Port Marítim, there was a big crowd of people, and that crates a little stress, however, it was a great chance to see all happy people celebrating La Mercè.

Hi Esther! This is my first experience in La Mercè. On Saturday I went with my rugby team´s partners to Plaza de España to listen some music and see the water show. We had fun. Then we went to Forum to listen more music and dance a little. After that we stayed at the home of one of the team´s players where the party continued. I finished really happy that day.

The last Saturday night I went with my friends to a concert, which was in Plaza España. There were many people but we had a great time. I liked the music that was there. Also, on monday I went to El Forum. It was funny but there were too many people. Finally on Tuesday I went to Plaza España to see the fireworks with my family. It has been a great Mercè!
ReplyDeleteLast year my friends and I went to a concert in Plaça Espanya. The first performances were a little bit boring, but after some singers we can hear the music that we want, and was in that moment when you feel really happy, later a lot of people came from i don't know where but we had to go home.

La Mercè is the annual festival of the city of Barcelona which is celebrate every 24th of September.
ReplyDeleteDuring these days of festival I went to different places with family and friends to have a good time. On the 24th I went to the Plaça Sant Jaume as did castellers and it was amazing! From Saturday until Tuesday I have been every day for the night in Plaça Espanya as did concerts for young people from different bands and Dj's.
Concluding with I think La Mercè is the best festival in Barcelona and I am waiting for next year to go again.
The las Saturday I have gone to the concert of Radio Flaixbac at Plaza España with my friends of the school were I was studied ESO. We gone there because, all of us love this program of radio, and because we wanted to had a good time together. At the beginning of the concert was incredible, we dance a lot, but later, when the night fell, we couldn't dance more, we haven't space and the people was very drunk. Althroug this happened, I will remember this night for the rest of my life, but the next year I wish that will be much better.
ReplyDeleteDuring La Mercè festival I went out with my friends to Plaza España! I arrived so late and there were many people gathered on that place. In the concert there were fantastics singers like Henry Mendez or Inna and groups like Teràpia de Shock. I really enjoyed the performance of each singer! Later I was so tired and my friends and I decided go home. I truly spent an amazing time and I hope that we can repeat it next year!
ReplyDeleteI have enjoyed a lot these days of La Mercè. I went to concerts every day I can. I went to Esplugues, Pl. Espanya and fórum, there, I danced and I laughed a lot with my friends and people I met there. I also saw some great shows like fireworks. So, I can say, this Mercé has been the best one ever for me.

On Saturday I went to Pl Espanya to dance, see and too feel the electro music and other types that the music is similar than this. Me and some friends listen Flaix fm and then we went to and other concert near there, was a fantastic experience and I like a lot this music.

Last Saturday in la Mercè I went with my friends to Plaza España for the Radio Flaixbac concert, but finally we didn't go to the concert cause was a lot of people there, so we stayed near there and waited for other friends.

Sunday afternoon there were concerts and different activities for children, then later at night there were fireworks to finish la merce 2013.It was a perfect weekend for me.I can’t wait for the nect festival.

ReplyDeleteOn saturday we went to a concert in El Forum. The group was Obrint pas a valencian grop that want catalonian independence. And on Monday we went to El Forum again because of another concert. This concert was made by Maxima FM.
The last week, there was La Mercè. On Monday I went to Forum with my friends because there was the Maxima concert. It was great but it was full of people and we couldn't listen the music. At 4a.m Alvaro and I returned to home because we missed.

The last monday firts I went to Pl.Espanya whith my friends and then we went to a concert in el Fòrum, because there was Maxima fm sesion. In this sesion clicked songs like "can't hold us", "this is love" and others. This festival was the best because I like this type of music .

In the festivals of mercè I experimentate a new experiences about the new festivals of mercè. The people went a party in the night in plaza España anf forum and other places, because they had a very good festivals, as Maxima FM, Flaix FM etc.

During la Mercé festival there are lots of different activities that you can do everywhere in Barcelona. In each street of that beautiful city, you will find people dancing, singing, watching some shows, or maybe eating all together. This year, I have attended to some concerts like Europa FM and CAD-100 with my friends. But the activity that I most liked this year was to visit la Sagrada Familia. I went there with my mum, Marta and her mum, and we became all fascinated about the brilliant work of Gaudí, although we could not enter in any of the towers. It was really relaxing to walk inside this enormous church observing all the details that has every wall and every brick of the construccion. I hope someday you will have the chance to visit it, you will love it!

I’ve always loved the festival La Mercé and every year in these days I used to go out with my friends and enjoy the concerts. But this time I received terrible news because I was supposed to go away from Barcelona with my family at that weekend and, at the end, I couldn’t go away on Saturday. Luckily, we arrived sooner than I expected and on Monday I could, at last, laugh with my friends and dance with the music. Finally everything went perfect.

Last week was the Mercè, and many people attended at some of the festivals that are celebrated in Barcelona. For example, Sunday night I went at Plaza España to see the concert of some famous singers like INNA, Henry Mendez or Dany Romero. The concert was so good, and I have a good time singing and enjoying with my friends.
As we didn't have party on Monday I had to assist to school. Finally, on Monday night I went to Forum, where all the teenagers were to have party. The Forum was full of people and was impossible to meet someone, but despite it, I also enjoy it.
Next year I hope to enjoy it as well as this year. The Mercè parties are the best.
